The Windhover

Another in the series of practice pages learning to use smaller nibs.
Here I’m using a Brause 1.5 mm broad edged nib writing foundational.

At these smaller sizes, everything becomes more subtle and precise
and the discipline of presence becomes even more apparent.
The text is an amazing poem by Hopkins called The Windhover.
The larger writing was with a pilot parallel pen.

Daily practice, written with a 1.5mm nib on graph paper. Text: The Windhover by Gerald Manley Hopkins.
