Here’s a page from a handmade book I’m working to finish up.
This book is a collage of different calligraphy and calligraphy-inspired practice I’ve done over recent months and years.
This page has a number of different calligraphic hands and variations
along with some patterns and calligraphy inspired gestures and experiments.
The book pages are Arches text wove and watercolor.
Many of the practice sheets were originally written on graph paper with various writing tools,
mostly broad-edged and monoline nibs and a pointed brush.
