Snail mail is always a great excuse to experiment with different calligraphy styles.
In this case, I also used some of my practice on larger craft paper to wrap the box I was sending.
I was trying different tools and a variety of gestural ideas. It’s mostly italic, but with foundational added in, written with a broad-edged pen and much larger with a flat brush.
