Some recent morning brush practice
– a single alphabet of Fraktur based on the variations of calligrapher Luca Barcellona,
whose work I’ve recently discovered.
It’s rare that I write just a single alphabet and even here I’ve added some simple background strokes,
but I’m slowly starting to work with the overall design or appearance as opposed to the individual letters,
which is what I usually pay the most attention to.
