I’m continuing to experiment with flat brushes.
I’ve had another week of experimenting with different sizes of flat brushes.
I’m finding that working at the larger sizes is really helping me see the subtleties of the form.
I can see why most calligraphers tend not to make a specialty of brush written Roman capitals.
And I can also see why a few take the practice to heart and become incredibly skilled.
It’s a fascinating and compelling blend of discipline and freedom.
