Covers from a few of the everyday, knock around books I’ve made recently.
These books were intended for everyday use
to give me easy and compact access to my Spanish vocabulary and phrase lessons.
Books like these are quick and easy to make – generally from previous work that would otherwise end up in the rubbish bin.
It’s a way of recycling old work and breathing new life into it. A second chance to shine and inspire.
The covers are usually made from heavier watercolor paper,
with the inside pages made from Arches text wove,
my favorite paper for book pages because of its versatility.
